CRLMB postdoctoral fellow, Dr. Doug Shiller, investigates the relationship between phonemic perception, speech production and speech motor
learning in children with primary developmental speech sound disorder, with Drs. Susan Rvachew and Vincent Gracco. Doug is recipient of a prestigious CCHCSP postdoctoral award for clinician scientists.
A 2 year postdoctoral fellowship, at a salary of $40,000 per annum, is offered in order to attract high-calibre international candidates to pursue studies in speech and/or language with a member of the CRLMB in Montreal.
The position is offered every two years. The annual salary of $40,000 runs for a period of two years from start date.
The Centre does not provide additional funds for travel and research, nor will funding be extended beyond the two-year period. Such funding may, however, be negotiated with individual supervisors. The successful applicant may begin the fellowship as early as April 15, 2009, and not later than July 1, 2009.
