The CRLMB listserv is open to those wishing up to the minute information about Centre news and events, in addition to that which is available on our website or our "Latest on Language" weblog. The Student Affairs Committee comprises six members: three principal or associate centre members and three student liaisons. The committee represents at least two of the universities involved in the Centre.
The Outreach Committee comprises at least four members, three of whom are drawn from our Principal and Associate membership. The committee also includes one student liaison. It represents at least two of the universities involved in the Centre. The Director is an ex-officio member of this committee.
The Funds Committee comprises three principal or associate centre members and the director (ex-officio). The committee represents at least two of the universities involved in the Centre.
The Board comprises four members drawn from the scientific community on the basis of their expertise in the study of human language. All members of the scientific advisory board are external to the Centre.
The Scientific Advisory Board ensures that the Centre remains at the cutting edge of science.
Members of the Board include the Vice Principals (Research) or delegates from the four member Universities, the Deans of the McGill member Faculties, the Director, three internal member representatives and two external representatives. Members serve for terms of five years.
The Centre operates in accordance with the regulations set by the Offices of the Vice-Principals (Research) of the member Universities. The CRLMB Advisory Board meets once a year to receive the annual report of the Centre, to officially approve newly-elected members, and to give advice on the activities and productivity of the centre.
