Student Travel Funding

Drs. Marc Pell, Henry Cheang and Marie Labelle at past CRLMB Graduate and Postgraduate Research Days

15 student travel awards of $700 will be granted to graduate and postgraduate students of CRLMB members, who will present their own work at a conference in the coming year. Five awards will be granted for each period covered by the initiative. Any awards not used during a particular award period will be rolled into the following one.

Graduate Students and postdoctoral fellows are eligible to apply for travel funding. Applicants must work with a centre member, and they must be presenting their own work at a conference. Preference will be given to first authors in the selection process. Travel grants will not be issued to those who already have travel funding from another source such as the Alma Mater Awards.

It is requested (and required) that all students receiving funding awards indicate the support of the Centre by including the Centre logo on your poster. It is also suggested that recipients participate in the Graduate and Postgraduate Series, which offers an opportunity to all to give a practice talk or presentation prior to a conference. To participate in next year's series, please contact isabelle.deschamps (at) mail.mcgill.ca
