Postdoctoral Fellowship

The fellowship offers an annual salary of $40,000 to an eligible applicant for a period of 2 years from start date . The Centre does not provide additional funds for travel and research, nor will funding be extended beyond the two-year period. Such funding may, however, be negotiated with individual supervisors.

Postdoctoral Supplement

A postdoctoral salary supplement of $15,000 will be offered to a new postdoctoral candidate each year, to enable members to attract high-calibre international candidates to pursue studies in language, mind and brain in Montreal. The fellowship offers a salary supplement of $15,000, inclusive.

New Initiatives Funding

CLRMB New Initiative Funds were established to stimulate and facilitate research activities that will increase the breadth, quantity and quality of research in language, mind and brain. Groups of at least three CRLMB members may apply for a New Initiatives Grant in the amount of $10,000 for one year.

Student Travel Funding

15 student travel awards in the amount of $700 CAD will be granted to graduate and postgraduate students of CRLMB members, who will present their own work at a conference in the coming year.
